Apr. 2024: Prof. Annie organized and moderated a panel discussion on "Optical Wireless Communication in 6G and Beyond" at IEEE ComSoc Training School in Dubai, UAE. She led a very interesting discussion with the panelists: Prof. Harald Haas, Prof. Halim Yanikomeroglu, Prof. Mohammed-Slim Alouini, and Dr. Steevy Cordette.
Apr. 2024: Prof. Annie served as a panelist in the panel discussion on "Standardization and Industrialization for Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces (RIS): The Story for the Second Half" at IEEE WCNC 2024 in Dubai, UAE. She shared her thoughts on the key use-cases of RIS that are of value for the network operators.
Apr. 2024: Prof. Annie moderated a panel discussion on "Integrating multiple networks, technologies and functionalities in 6G" at IEEE WCNC 2024 in Dubai, UAE as a part of the 2nd International Workshop on Integrated, Intelligent and Ubiquitous Connectivity for 6G Networks. She had an insightful discussion on the key technological trends for 6G with panelists: Prof. Marco Di Renzo, Prof. Boya Di and Dr. Xueli An.
